NAIDOC WEEK 2022

Updated: Jul 5, 2022

As part of NAIDOC Week Celebrations, the Currie Country family invites you to join in on our FREE Annual Community and Family Floatilla Day in partnership with Tweed Eco Cruises ️

If you live local, or are travelling and visiting Tweed Heads, the Northern Rivers or the Gold Coast area and would like to feel more connected to Indigenous culture, we invite you and your whole family to spend the day on the water for some festivities.

Let’s honour the country and enjoy the waterways as a community. Take a moment and focus on what we share as a community and what the incredible natural surroundings and environment brings to our lives.

Here are the details for this upcoming Sunday's Event

Date: Sunday, 10 July 2022

Time: From 11AM–1PM

Location: Meet at Tweed Marina to board with us on our vessel, we will be cruising along the Tweed River. Or if you’ve got your own boat or vessel, feel free to cruise along with us and celebrate the River as we do. Fly an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Flag and reflect on the beautiful day together!

Please bring a plate of food to share. Young and old, everyone's welcome. Community for community.

We hope to see you there!
